Caring for your boots.

Well, it’s that time of year. The cold is finally receding and the rains are heading our way. So to keep you favorite boots in good condition through it (and your feet dry) its a good idea to clean them thoroughly and treat them with a good waterproofing product. I like Nikwax . It’s reasonably priced, works really well, and because it has both a cleaner and conditioners and waterproofers in their line, I know that they are compatible and can be used together without causing inadvertent damage. Treating your boots monthly can really extend the wear. I have a pair of much loved Ariats that are well into their third year and still going strong. A little care goes a long way.
